  • Educational Resources/Learning Opportunities

    Galena Park I.S.D. is committed to providing Educational Resources and Learning Opportunities to students for the duration of this closure period. In order to ensure ALL students have equal access to the resources, we have an online option, as well as paper packets for students who do not have an electronic device or internet access readily available at home. NOTE: The registration link for the paper packet will be active every Tuesday at noon to 11:59 p.m. on the following Sunday. You ONLY have to register once for a paper packet.   • GPISD Technical Support

    The GPISD Technology Department will provide support to students Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The Technical Support offered is to assist students with accessing District resources; the support is not provided as technical support for personal hardware.     The Galena Park I.S.D. CTE Early College High School is accepting applications for students interested in enrolling for the 2020-2021 school year.     On Monday, March 2, 2020, the Galena Park I. S. D. Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2020-2021 School Calendar. The first day of school for students is August 17, 2020.

  • Galena Park I.S.D. Superintendent Job Posting

    Dr. Angi Williams, after a successful career in education including the past 8 years as the Superintendent of Galena Park I.S.D., has announced her retirement effective at the end of the current school year. Galena Park I.S.D.’s Board of Trustees has hired DRV Executive Search Services to assist in searching for an exceptionally qualified administrator to be the next GPISD Superintendent of Schools. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply for this position. Please do not contact board members.   • GPISD Announces Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten

    To increase your child’s readiness for kindergarten, Galena Park I.S.D. will begin to offer a full-day Pre-Kindergarten program for 4 year-old students at all campuses. A half day program is also offered for 3 year-old students at select campuses.
