Welcome to the Galena Park ISD Student Handbooks & Code of Conduct webpage. Our mission to prepare students to become productive citizens and lifelong learners continues to guide our work and inform every decision we make. We recognize the trust placed in us by our students, families, and community and are committed to providing safe, supportive learning environments built on high expectations, meaningful learning opportunities, and a shared commitment to student success.

The Student Handbooks provide students and families with important information about district and campus expectations, policies, procedures, programs, and services. The Student Code of Conduct, adopted by the Galena Park ISD Board of Trustees in accordance with Chapter 37 of the Texas Education Code, establishes standards for student conduct and provides guidance for managing behavior, administering discipline, and preventing and addressing disciplinary concerns. It also outlines consequences for misconduct and the procedures used by the district when disciplinary action is necessary.

We encourage all students and parents/guardians to review these resources carefully and become familiar with the expectations and responsibilities of being a member of the GPISD community. The Student Code of Conduct applies throughout the school year, during summer school, and at school-related events and activities until an updated version adopted by the Board of Trustees takes effect. By working together, we can maintain safe, respectful, and productive schools where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve long-term success.
