  • Instructional Arrangement Change

    We will welcome all students who signed up for Face-to-Face instruction for the 1st 9 weeks on campus starting October 13, 2020. If you would like to change the instructional arrangement for the 2nd 9-weeks of school, complete an Instructional Arrangement Change Form. The form will be available to make changes, October 5th-16th. By completing this form your child/ren will be able to return to face-to-face instruction starting October 26th.     We are excited to have welcomed our students and staff back to school for the 2020-2021 school year! Please check this webpage often for updates on the latest news and plans for the school year, and to become familiar with the options presented to parents/guardians for their child(ren)s' educational settings for the 2020-2021 school year. Please note, however, that plans are subject to change in order to remain in compliance with ever-changing guidance from our local and state officials, the Harris County Public Health Department (HCPH), the Texas Education Agency (TEA), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

    Legacy Community Health (Legacy) is the largest federally qualified health center in Texas and a first-of-its-kind in GPISD with clinics inside Green Valley Elementary School and North Shore Senior High School for students and their siblings to visit.     The 2020 - 2021 Residency Affidavit is now available electronically. This application is for individuals who cannot produce a property deed/lease or lives with a friend/family member.

    The 2020 - 2021 Parental Assumption application is now available to submit electronically. This application is required if the student will remain living separate and apart from their parent/legal guardian.

  • Removal of Unauthorized/Disruptive Persons

    As of August 26, 2018 all school districts are subject to the Commissioner’s new rules regarding the removal of a disruptive person from a campus. More information regarding this new rule can be found in Chapter 37, section 37.105 of the Texas Education Code, which addresses: Unauthorized Persons, Refusal of Entry, Ejection, and Identification.

    Registration is open from: 9:00am-11:00am and 1:30pm-3:00pm
