For all internal and external proposals concerning research and data collection, please download and complete this form to request committee consideration. The completed typed form should be emailed or mailed to Dr. Kareen Brown, 14705 Woodforest Blvd. Houston, Texas 77015 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Complete proposals should include any supporting documents such as methodology, parent/student consent forms, human subject committee forms, instrument samples, etc.
All proposals must be received by the dates listed on this page for consideration at the following meeting. In addition, candidates submitting requests must present the proposed study to the Research Initiative Committee in person. Candidates should plan to bring eight (8) copies to the presentation once scheduled. Formal permission is granted by the committee. All research findings are expected to be shared with district after completion of the study in written form. The district reserves the right to suspend data collection during the process of any study should the committee deem necessary.
